Following the existing campus assessment, the next
step in formulation of the Campus Master Plan is preparation of a
Development Framework Plan. The
Development Framework Plan is an overarching strategy or concept for campus
organization. It will provide the foundation for future, more detailed
exploration, and as such, serves as an "outline" that will focus
future campus design efforts.
Three "big ideas" were prepared to illustrate alternative
organizational strategies for campus.
The committees were asked to identify the pieces of each
alternative that they would like to see recombined into a consensus plan.
The consensus plan will be further refined and presented to the
advisory committees during the May visit.
